That day David first committed to Asaph and his associates this psalm of thanks to the LORD; Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name;
Make known among the nations what he has done. Sing to him, sing praise to him; Tell of all his wonderful acts. Glory in his holy name; Let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice. Look to the LORD and his strength; Seek his face always. Remember the wonders he has done, His miracles, and the judgments He pronounced. 1 Chronicles 16:7-12
In this week that we focus on giving thanks, I think this passage is a good "how to" on giving thanks to God. We thank Him by: Making Him known; singing to Him; seeing glory in Him; rejoicing; looking to His strength, seeking His face; and remembering Him. Do you want to show thanks to God? Pick one of those items and do it, do it now as you are reading this.
