Togetherness...I am praying for your togetherness...
"For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to
know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! I pray that you...may have power through togetherness.
"And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints..."
Friends...you are not alone! I do not mean that God is always with you, which, of course is true, but even in the flesh, you are not alone.
If you are in a church, you are surrounded, hopefully(!), by workers in God's field.
If you are not in a church*** you are still not alone!
This 'assembly' of believers that you share this reading with is over a thousand.
There are Christians in your neighborhood, at your school, at your workplace. Find them!
You are part of a fellowship of billions of people who love Jesus. Do not let the world convince you otherwise.
Recognition of that togetherness is part of the power about which Paul wrote.
Claim it friends, claim the brotherhood, claim your part in the priesthood of all believers. This is a part of the riches from which God wants to bless you! Be a part of it...be "together with all the saints!"
Please pray for someone else; that they would realize they are not alone.
